Hotel Casa Carmen checked all the boxes for us - great location, charming building, friendly and very helpful staff.

I would stay again!

Lovely staff and the place is very clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. It’s good value for what you pay.

The hot water wasn’t really hot, but it’s so humid in Cartagena that it didn’t matter to me, but others may have an issue. The neighbourhood is a bit loud, but it wasn’t a big bother to me.

Noise and lack of sound privacy Room allocated was downstairs by check in desk and woken up by door bell and desk conversations. Breakfast in courtyard was literally right outside our door so worken by people having breakfast

Lovely helpful staff. Great location. Beautiful building. Big rooms. Strong air con. Lots of TV channels.

Great customer service, comfortable bed with air, needs work on bathrooms.

The staff were great! Excellent customer service. They were very friendly and helpful with helping us navigate. Staff spoke English which is also a big bonus. The location is also great. Just blocks from everything. The room was a perfect size for my family of four. Nice clean location, great staff, convenient location. Just don’t plan to shower unless improvements are made to the bathroom.

The only disappointment was the bathroom. Though it was clean, the shower leaked all night, shower door didn’t close and ther water pressure was very low. There was a shower head connected to the toilet water source. Because we stayed just for one night before heading home, we opted out of using the shower that night. Also, WiFi is not strong enough to reach to second floor so we had to go in the lobby for consistent internet.

Great stay at this hotel, good location, nice room and wonderful staff.

Very large rooms, tons of space. Beds comfortable, staff super friendly and helpful, location is central and close to everything, yet on a quieter street away from noise.

The casa is in the middle of Getsemani, a realy nice place to stay! The staff is helpfull and wil help you out with Almost everything. You can get breakfast here and the rooms are big and there is airco, you gonna nead this in Cartagena!

We had Windows with blinds in our room. The blinds couldn’t open so we didn’t saw any daylight from our room

Amazing, feels like coming home

Maria was the BEST host we had during our 3 week trip trough Colombia! She helped us perfectly with our boat booking to island, took care of our bags. Good english! Also the cleaning ladies did the best job every day the room looked brand new! Big fresh towels! Beautiful hotel, Nice relaxing roof for late night city view.. perfect airco in the room! Very close to all the good restaurants/Trinidad and safe neighbourhood. We stayd 1 more night extra

Casa Carmen

The staff was very friendly, although one of the staff could barely speak any word of English. The room was nice as well. Bring your earplugs though as ours was next to the street and the reception and you'll get woken up at several times of not. Great location and great value for money I guess. They didn't make us pay for breakfast on our last day as we had to eat it quickly before leaving.

Some things could be a bit better like the shower head (just a tube hole), the size of the bed (almost everywhere in Colombia). And the water in the shower was cold which didn't bother me but bothered my girlfriend.
